Saturday will mark the 20th Anniversary of attack that changed us all.
This Saturday marks the 20th Anniversary of the hijacking of four US commercial airplanes, and the subsequent attack on New York's World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and the downed airplane over Pennsylvania.
A Day of Sadness for the World
Today we lead exceedingly busy lives, with packed work schedules and personal obligations. But we should never forget the events that have shaped who we are. 9/11 is one of those events, especially for Americans. We should always acknowledge however that citizens from the 78 other countries also lost their lives during that terrible day. We want to acknowledge those countries today, as well every nation that has been touched by 9/11.
Our empathy and thoughts are with every global citizen.
