The biggest mistake we can all make is thinking that, post-pandemic, things will go back to how they were before Covid-19. They won’t. Our world has already changed and there will be a new normal. In order to meet the needs of the new normal, Orthodontics is going to have to change. We also are going to have to change.

Every business is going to have to reevaluate the product or service they provide, how they provide it, and how their customers consume it. Every customer is going to assess safety concerns before deciding to go to a restaurant, seeing a movie, or visiting an orthodontist. Every employee is going to want to feel safe doing their job.


We need to be thinking NOW about what initiatives we need to implement that reassures orthodontists that we care about their business, care about their safety, and most importantly, care about the safety of their customers.

We need to be thinking NOW about what we need to do so that our organizations can safely service orthodontists with inventory, provide training, and promote new product.

We also need to be thinking NOW about the support we will need to provide orthodontists so that they can reassure their patients that their treatments are safe.

OC has an innovative product platform. If we do this thoughtfully and smartly, this is also an opportunity for us all to lead the way with an innovative service platform.
