What do patients want? What do they really, really want?
I'll tell you what they want, what they really, really want. We know from numerous reports, that most patients want 3 things:
ONE: A wow-worthy smile that gives them confidence and makes them feel good.
TWO: Results achieved in as short a time period as possible. People are busy and they dont want to wait TWO YEARS to finish.
THREE: They want value for money, especially now!
Aligners have positioned themselves as being able to achieve two of these things; results and speed. (They are still more expensive than brackets!).
However, a new scientific study from AJO-DO casts serious doubt on both the results and speed of Aligners.
